I currently shoot a RH M70 Featherweight from left hand. I am right handed and left eye dominant and I shoot lefty 95% of the time. If I'm at a bad angle for a left handed shot, and it's under 200 yards or so, I can make the shot. I prefer a right handed rifle without a raised cheek piece or the Monte Carlo comb. The Featherweight works out very well in that regard; it is easy to get lined up RH or LH because of the lack of those features. What other McMillan stocks with no stock humps will allow me to drop in an M70 barreled action? Winchester Classic/Winlite and also Edge? Others? Thanks.

I shoot left handed and have 3 Hunters Edge's and they work out fine for me if you are looking for a light weight.

Edge is the only other M70 stock I've used that you can shoot well from either side.

I have a WinLite stock on a RH PF M70 that seems to shoulder O.K. for me. The fore end feels a bit "thin" given that the WinLite does not have the checkering on it to provide grip that the normal McM M70 FW stock has. Otherwise the ergos seem O.K. to me...
