Ok guys I came across a guy today that wants to trade me a heavy barrel savage and a Henry lever action both ion .17 HMR for my Ruger m77 7mm rem mag and an old climber I have. His guns comes with a scope for one and 200 rounds. Do you guys think it's a decent deal?

I think it's a great deal- for him.

My son worked for a major outdoor chain a few back. Of all the guns they sold, the ones from two manufacturers came back for defects more than all the rest- Taurus/Rossi and Henry.

Take them out and shoot them and see if they are guns you would like or need. Then balance your needs against the guns. No one else can tell you if it is a good deal if it in't one you want to make.

Only experience I have with a Henry is my hunting buddy bought one. It wouldn't chamber the shells correctly right out of the box. Pulling the lever the first time ejected the shell but didn't load another into the chamber. The second time you pulled the lever it would load one. The front sight was also not on straight. He sent it back to Henry an they fixed the problem with it not chambering a shell, but the sight was still off. It's a nice looking gun, but imo for what it costs it should have a lot better QC.

That said the Savage is probably a $200-250 gun depending on the scope that is on it. The Henry could vary in price a lot depending on the model. I'd be very hesitant to trade a Ruger M77 for those two unless I really wanted them. Much less that and a climber.
