If I could turn back the hands of time the first thing I would do is give Obama's daddy a condom! Back on topic the only gun I regret getting rid of is a Remington 582 22 that was my grandfathers. Sold it to prevent getting evicted when me and the wife were young and had not much money and 3 kids. On second thought, I would do it all over again if I had to.
If it looks good, you'll see it If it sounds good, you'll hear it If it's marketed right, you'll buy it But...If it's real, you'll feel it Kid Rock

Most I sold because I regretted buying them. There was a Model 7 in 306 I traded for one in 260. The 308 was a great shooting consistent rifle. The 260 was a POS.

No regrets here, other than regretting not buying some I've ran across... I've got a few of those, too. A couple at gun shows where I went home to think about them (thus resisting immediate temptation), only to go back the next day to buy them and find out I was 10 minutes to an hour too late. One of those was a stainless Ruger skeleton boat paddle in .270. Another was a pre-war 8x57 German Mauser with sporter stock and Berlin markings. Both were beautiful in their own way and priced very right. Lesson learned though. Now when I find one I like and it is priced where I want it I just buy it. Doesn't happen that often but did one a couple weeks ago - a NIB Ruger Hawkeye display rifle from Dick's. Chambered in .300WM, walnut/matte blue. $404 was a price I couldn't resist, even though as a display rifle it had minor marks on the barrel and stock. Ostensibly bought it as a wedding present for my future son-in-law but but really wanted to give him a .30-06. Now I'm keeping my eye out for a .30-06. If I find the right deal I may have another .300WM.
Coyote Hunter - NRA Patriot Life, NRA Whittington Center Life, GOA, DAD - and I VOTE!
No, I'm not a Ruger bigot - just an unabashed fan of their revolvers, M77's and #1's.
A good .30-06 is a 99% solution.

There are two that really stick in my mind one was a prototype in '06 , it was a sample action from Parker Hale that my father stocked, fantastic rifle. The other was a 3 band Snider MK111 that was crazy accurate for an 1866 built rifle. I flipped it because i wanted to get some quick cash together. Cat
scopes are cool, but slings 'n' irons RULE!

the only one i miss was a sako 75 hunter in 300wsm. Wood was better than average and I got a killer deal on it when the Beretta Gallery was closing them out. I sold it to get a Rem 700 CDL SS Fluted in 264 win mag which only lasted about 8 months.

Right now, I don't regret getting rid of any of the rifles that have passed through my safe. I have regretted getting rid of a few in the past though and I was lucky enough to get them back.
Two, both Winchesters an 86 and a 71, I bought back from the guy that bought them from me. Yep, my record is perfect, he made money on the deal. I've never made a dime trading guns.
Another was a commercial small ring 98 in 8X60. I walked into a gun shop and there it was. I had sold it probably 25 years before when times had gotten kind of hard and figured it was gone for ever. I just told the dealer to get out the paperwork, this one was going home with me.

If you could turn back the hands of time......,
I'd still have the deadliest most accurate rifle I ever owned, my Rem 121 Fieldmaster. (Oh, and I'd be 13, 1963!) ...and BTW, a kid could hunt just about anywhere then.
