I just finished reading "Eye of the Wolf." It's about a Russian military officer who invents a long-range sniper rifle and cartridge, and stalks high-ranking German SS officers who have invaded his country.
He's accompanied on his shooting missions by two wolf-dogs he raised from pups.
The Mayans had it right. If you�re going to predict the future, it�s best to aim far beyond your life expectancy, lest you wind up red-faced in a bunker overstocked with Spam and ammo.
