WTB Colt Python, looking for 2.5, 4 and 6 inch barrels, blued finish only with a Serial number below 60,000.
I'm not looking for the NIB or LNIB examples of these fine guns. I'm wanting guns that have seen use - but not been abused. Some holster wear/faded blue is fine, preferred actually. I want to be able to admire the old world craftsmanship while still being able to shoot fairly regularly. Not looking for any guns that have been refinished.
I have a NIB Coonan 1911 w/night sights and extra magazines or a NIB Marlin 1894css 357, 357 Ruger Redhawk 7.5" barrel or a Marlin XLR 35 Remington to offer as trade material or we can work out a cash deal. I am located in Arizona. Please send me a PM if interested.

Not mine, but a local dealer has a blue 2.5" on consignment that looks like it has some bluing wear near the muzzle. Seems high for the condition, but he does lower prices as things sit a while, and he takes offers. Link.

I have a 1971 Colt Python that I bought new that year. Four inch blued, at least in very good condition, think I still have the box too. $2500 which is high but I don't really want to sell it unless it brings a lot.

I have a 6 inch with a little holster wear on the muzzle. Other wise in excellent condition. I'm not sure if it falls into the serial # range. Will check tonight after work.

got a friend got a like new 75 model 6in blued with the box and paperwork but does not have original wood grips 2250.00 shipped

Those are few and far between...I have 1 in 4 inch I used in the police academy in 93 and wouldn't take nothing fer it!!! Fine pistols! Good luck w/ your search and I'll check around fer ya too!
