Let's kill the coal industry, and then it will create a "false/artificial market" for the wind energy fraud that has been Obama's hallmark since the bailout began.

Liberal thinking.

A truer statement hasn't been said J23..I've also heard that from the older folks, but what they don't understand is this ain't your Grandpa's democratic party it's the new socialist party, hell we have all the democrats,Christy,McCain,Graham, those guys are the old democrats and they go with a R by their name.I won't use the word democrat anymore it's the Socialist party.I just had a union friend of mine say the "Republicans scare him" and he's a gun toting Catholic-go figure !!

That's what I don't understand about today's West Virginia Democrat.. for the most part, West Virginia's population is the epitome of conservative values and freedom, yet they vote polar opposite. The only answer I can come up with is uneducated voting. Not to say that West Virginian's aren't intelligent, they just aren't politically educated I suppose.

I lived there for twenty-some years. Our senators represent NONE of the majority of West Virginian values.. Manchin is an Obama puppet who will, just like Byrd before him [who I am convinced had been dead since the 1980's-think Weekend At Bernie's] will continually get reelected despite the polar opposite stance from 90% of their voters, it's the definition of political insanity! ..and Rockefeller is, well, Rockefeller.

I think West Virginia voter's, if they aren't blindly hitting the 'D' button, vote on name recognition. Either way, it's bad.

I hope thing's change in that state. It should be a red state all the day long.

During and after the chemical leak that contaminated our water liberals are going on about republicans in DC. I hit them with "the state can have more strict regs than the feds so our own local politicians did this to us! We have the best politicians money can buy and this state has been controlled by democrats for over 60 years".

The EPA is going to screw all of us and the greenies are too stupid to see it. We have more electricity than we need (now) because industry has left the country. The countries that have new industry are building power plants that don't have scrubbers and are third world countries so the UN cheers them on.

Dad worked with those crooked fooks in the late 60's early 70's in LR on several road/loop/interstate projects, remember him saying something about being more crooked than a barrel of moccasins. grin

Not what I heard of them and they owned a lot of land on the Grand Prairie just a few miles South of me. Most was leased out but they had a large Cattle Ranch south of Carlisle, Ar. Of course I did not run in the same circles as they did. grin miles

U.S. is the Saudi Arabia of coal. If we over-regulate coal it won't be for long. We will need the energy to keep warm and keep the lights on. Having said that, Americans don't want to live with Chinese levels of air pollution, we will when we have to, but would rather not until we do.

Google up Shanghai or Beijing air pollution sometime. Pity the poor bast*rds that have to live in a Chinese lead smelter town.
