Bushnell is the repair agent, but the Millett website said that most of their scopes are made in China. Someone was trying to tell me they would withstand the recoil of a 50 BMG.

An acquaintance bought a Rem 700 5R Milspec, a nice factory piece. He liked the way mine shot. I wasn't there when he did the deal, and he got suckered into a Millett. It's junk.

I'm pretty sure that Bushnell owns Millet. There's a Bushnell outlet store near my hometown and it always has an assortment of Millet stuff for sale.

Bushnell owns Millet. That said, no telling which factory makes them. Probably whichever offers them the cheapest price at the time as that seems to generally be who Bushnell goes with. IMO I wouldn't put one on anything more than a .22.

From my research, I have to agree with the nothing more than a .22. I do not own one, but did lots of research and almost bought one until I read many reports about it breaking on guns larger than the .22.

Anyone who fished and grew up on the coast of the Gulf of Mexico knows a mullet is a trash fish.

It's easy to take the little step from calling Millet scopes Mullet scopes.
