My long time friend and gunsmith has had to retire due of health issues. I am now up the North Platte River with no means of propulsion... If you know of a smith that you are comfortable with, I would appreciate a name and number. Thanks...

I really put this on for info only, but when I was @ CO School of Trades in '76 we did most of our work on outside customer guns at a very good rate, don't know the instructors there now, but might be worth a call. I graduated with a bunch of good smiths, and all work was approved by instructors and customers. School is in Lakewood. Any of you guys from that time remember buying wood from Rufus and Canjars and Redfields from the maker?

Dave Sullivan of Westwind Rifles in Erie is awful good. A little bit north of Denver, but not too far. Phone number I have for him is 303-828-3823.

Well, not in Colorado, but north to Wyoming...check with Randy Selby. He does great work at fair prices....look at his web site.

Kevin Weaver of Weaver Rifles Colorado Springs Kevin is GTG. Yup. He's actually a little east of the springs, in Peyton.
