M2 and M79 when I was in the navy as well as other fully automatic weapons but that's as far as military cool goes.
I own four of the coolest firearms ever.
Seventy series Colt 1911 Gold Cup National Match.
Old model Ruger Blackhawk in 357.
1903-A3 Springfield in 280 Ackley.
Montana Rifle Company 350 Rem Mag with a McMillian 50/50 orange/white stock.
Redneck did excellent work on both of these rifles and they both shoot very well.

own a gun used in the civil war. By its lineage.

About the coolest thing is shooting that gun these days. Have taken deer, ducks, rabbits, and javelina with it so far.

Have shot full auto, its ok, not a big deal. Have shot big stuff and own some, its cool.

Shooting guns owned by friends that are no longer here, and taking game, seems like those folks are still hunting with you.

M203 was fun as was a LAW but that isn't really a gun.

I have a Winchester 94 that is one of only 10 known that came with a 22" barrel from the factory with a 1:10 twist rate. That rifle is pretty cool.

When at Ft Bragg, I was an armorer for a short while. The .30 cal 19's were a hoot to shoot but the Ma Deuce .50 was king. Even had 3 Grease Guns to shoot. M-3, I think.

You wouldn't believe what the .50 can do to a target, M59 PC.

Yes M3 and M3A1... Slowest cyclic rate of any MG I've ever seen. Fun to shoot though.

I have never had the chance to shoot a full auto and I have not shot a lot of variety but my AR50, M21 , Socom16 , S&W 460 and the 10ga Blunderbuss that I built from scratch are all a blast to shoot.

Gobs

Unforgettable

Wilmer Beckstrom shortened the hammer fall on a Remington rolling-block, converted it to rimfire, and barreled it to .22 Long Rifle with a 28-inch or 30-inch bull barrel. What a treat to shoot with BB caps or CB caps! Had to be right next to the muzzle to hear it go-off.

.416, .460, .475, .500, and .577 Jurras Howdah pistols. Both hands, tight, gloves not a bad idea.

16" naval gun.

Well, I didn't pull the trigger, but was fortunate to be part of the FO team in a Huey UH-1.

Here's a pic from our helo, firing the USS New Jersey, at targets on San Clemente Island CA. You can see some of the projectiles in the upper left,
