I recently picked up this rifle from the original owner, but it's not really what I need. I have not yet shot it, but the gunsmith built a load for the rifle with H4831sc and 75gn Amax's, and it shoots "lights out" per him. Less than 50 rds fired. If you didn't want to keep this as a varmint lazer, this would also be a good basis for an M40 clone build.

Trued Remington 721 action **clipslotted action with no letter prefix
Broughton M40 contour 8tw bbl, 26" from action face to crown. Chambered in 22-6mm (not threaded)
old style remington trigger
Wood ADL stock bedded to action. Stock has been opened up to accept the heavy barrel, and I personally would replace it if I were keeping it, but it is perfectly functional and bedded nice and tight.
Barreled Action has been painted in black alumahyde
3pc Redding dies with FL sizer, S type Neck sizer with .249 bushing and micrometer seating die. Dies are a little tarnished on the outside, but clean as a whistle inside where it counts.
80piecs of brass (58 are loaded and 22 fired) in MTM ammo boxes. I will pull the bullets to remove powder for a shipped transaction, or FTF will get loaded ammo. Just to clarify, a shipped transaction will get primed brass and bullets, no loaded ammo.
Barrel has a small safe scuff in the alumahyde.
Stock has a crack on right side near trigger guard.
