As said: this Blackhawk has been shipped to Magna-port and they installed their new Trigger, ported the Barrel and polished inside and out. The barrel end is polished and crowned 11 degrees. It's got the original grips. I think the barrel is 5.5 inches. I'll confirm if someone is serious.

Unfortunately the Front Sight was knocked off. An easy fix and cheap fix.

This is a nice piece and someone is going to be extremely happy.

The cheap part is the front sight. Shipping back and forth isn't cheap.

Sent Ruger a letter with the serial number on my blackhawk that had a broken front sight, they sent a replacement for free.

How did your sight attach? This one appears to be soldered on - not a DIY job for most of us.

It was pinned. Ruger sent a new blade and pin, just have to drill hole and drive in the pin.

Don't know if that is how all of them were...

Hey Buckmaster - I tried downloading the picture and blowing it up, but I still can't tell for sure - is this revolver blued or stainless?

Also, does the front sight pedestal have a hole for a pin and a slot for a blade? Or is it a one-piece, broken off even with the top of the pedestal?

Can you post a better picture (or pictures from different angles) that can be enlarged, to view detail, and can you answer the previous questions about the finish? Is it stainless or Blued?

Also, it appears that the grip frame has been changed? Or did magnaport cut the barrel down and recrown? Can you confirm this? I notice from the picture that this has a dragoon trigger guard, which only comes in the 7.5" barrel SBH, but this is a 5.5" barrel which should have a round trigger guard.
