Just picked up a new stevens/savage .22 bolt action single shot (made in lakefield, ontario). Neat trick to help the trigger, which had alot of creep: the trigger unit is held on by one large screw. I found that putting some washers (made of shim stock) between the trigger housing and the action, I could reduce the creep to almost nothing. Make sure it is safe by slamming the bolt shut and working the safety.

This worked out for me. Be careful, and don't sick your lawyer on me if something happens.
