Friday, Saterday, Sunday, and Monday of the Laborday weekend there will be an AKC hunt test for sporting spaniels at the Scatter Creek Wildlife Area just south of Olympia, WA. It is a great chance to see the different spaniel breeds in action. There will be English Springer, English Cockers, maybe an American Cocker or two (there are still some field breds out there), Clumbers, and possibly a Sussex, Field or Whelsh spaniel. There is no charge and the gallery can follow along as the dogs work. The dogs and handlers with be working at Junior, Senior, and Master level. There should be about thirty dogs working each day, handlers come from most of the western states, because of the number of test availible.
