I did more killing with the 6mm remington this past season. Wife broke in a new cartridge though. She killed three or four with a Tikka T3 Hunter in 6.5x55 Swedish. (Then promptly claimed said rifle.)

My new .280Rem custom. I've done it with the caliber before but not the rifle.

Actually it wasn't a cartridge. I got my first one with my .50 NEF Huntsman muzzleloader this past December.

First deer with a Hoyt. grin Poked him at dusk. Longest night of my life waiting for the sun to rise so I could get on the trail.

7WSM...well, not really. Have killed a few with that cartridge in a previous gun that I no longer own, but this time it was Kimber Montana.

First muzzleloader deer, (actually an 8 pt and a doe) , with a 50 cal T/C Impact. 250 gr Barnes T-EZ did the job. I live in Northern Vermont, but these were taken in Southeast Michigan. Far and away the best tasting venison I've ever eaten.
