Does anyone have/had a pair and can give me some real world/ in the field feedback? I looked through the Razor and Viper HD side by side in the store and the Razors were head and shoulders better. Is it worth the extra coin to go with the Razors? Please let me know your "field experience" opinions.

Thanks

I like the Razors and I am a Vortex fan but I would look strongly at the Cabelas Euro HD's. I have both and the Euro's are a better glass IMO. Same price range

Thanks for the reply, I did look through the Cabelas euro HD and razors side by side in the store and I thought the glass between the two was comperable but the weight and ergonomics of the razors felt way better to me.

I have sent my Razors back to Vortex twice and I haven't done a thing with the Euro's. They're built like tanks.

That's one of the reason I love Vortex though, no matter what they'll take em back.

Agree with Drum.....Meopta/Euro HD's are built as well as anything on the planet, and have stupendous(just learned that word)glass.

It is irrelevant what you think. What matters is the TRUTH.

Well that is discouraging to hear about the Razors. I have not had to use the Vortex warranty yet but from what I read it is top notch. I did feel the Meoptas were built like a tank as well but overall decided on the Razors.

If my Viper HDs are any notion of what you can expect, you'll have to try pretty hard to break them.
