Model 70 Classic Stainless (acquired donor rifle here on 24HC) Lilja #3, 1" shank turned to 1.135" diameter to fit stock, finished at 23.75" McMillan Winchester Hunter, Edge Fill (acquired here on 24HC) Leupold 4.5-14x40 8lbs 3oz, scoped and empty Don't speculate when you don't know, and don't second guess when you do.

Shaw do a push feed M70 for my brother 3 yrs. ago in the same chambering with their 1 1/2 contour barrel in the Winchester wood stock. He loves it. I'm sure you will love yours, too. I added an Edge stock last year to lighten it up. You will love your new rifle. Good hunting.
