One owner, CarFax good. 6.0 auto, 64K miles. Pass or go for $21K?
Sounds like mileage is not good on them, but will not be primary mode of transport.

Just seems high but I haven't been looking for a 3/4 ton truck either.

Sounds high to me for a 9-year old truck. I had a 2005 GMC crew cab 4x4 with that engine and the 4-speed auto and traded it after a couple of years (with about 60K miles on it). Mileage was pretty pitiful--add a trailer and...well, that's why it went down the road. It was a comfortable truck to travel in...

If they can get closer to 18/18-5? I would consider it. It would be a cash purchase. Too damn old to start with payments again.
I am just worried about the 5.3 with an ATV in the back and pulling a 19ft trailer.

That's high for a 9 year-old gasser. Not for sure what book is, but I'd check before moving on this.

This past July I paid just under 15K for the GMC version of what you're looking at. 2005, one owner couple that never pulled anything, 3/4T, 6.0, quad cab SLE with 114,000 and a topper. It took me two years to find one so they're out there but you have to be looking all the time.

My daughter has one with 2x the miles but she also paid half that asking price. Hers runs good as do others of folks that I know have that combination. She gets 15/15.5 mpg pretty constant but stick a trailer of about any size on the back and that number will drop a lot. That just sounds way high to me.

Way too high. I paid $14,500 for same truck in 4x4 with 70,000 miles three years ago. Thank god I bought extended warranty. Within 6 months it had to have $8,000 worth of work. Since then and for the next 70,000 miles nary a problem, runs like a top and I average 10.5 mpg. I figure that's why so cheap.

I would pass. 3/4 T with the 6.0 is a gas drink hog. I had an 07 classic reg cab and it got 10 with no trailer. Add a trailer, and I you could watch the needle move. My new '13 2500 has the 6.6 duramax.

I paid $21k new for an O7 Classic reg cab LT 6.0 gas way to high of price. However if you drive them right the mileage isn't as bad as most say. A little taller tire and keep under 65 will yield good mileage (16 AVG) and as High as 19 on the highway, pulling a trailer I get about 11

Seems high.

I'm trying to move a 94 with the 5.7L, 126k original if you're interested.

On my 03 tahoe a set of dynatech headers with midpipes really woke the truck up. Much more fun to drive, much better acceleration, all around great improvement for the truck. I bet with a 6.0 instead of a 5.3, the gains would be even better.

Done deal! God bless my house mate! The F&I guys had no clue what they were in for and who they were dealing with. Right at the nut she said they needed to meet half way for tires (still had original tires). That took another 45 minutes, but we wrote a check and drove it home and haven't looked back.
