I am going to be scheduled for gallbladder surgery for sometime next week. I had a real bad attack last night and had to get taken to the ER by our local ambulance. They thought it could be heart at first but ruled that out completely after tests. I am the proud owner of some soon-to-be-gone gall stones.
I have had two other attacks over the past two weeks but after antacids things got better. This time things got much worse. Could not believe how really painful these things can become. Wow! They had to give me morphine to get the pain to ease up. No sleep for over 28 hours and feel like I have been dragged behind a car.
Real bland diet until surgery too.
Please pray all goes well as I have empysema and that may complicate things a little. It will be done with a scope.

Prayers on the way! My mother had empysema, not much fun for the recipient. Stubbornness will take you a long ways with that disease, my mother lived several years beyond what she was supposed to due simply to her stubbornness. I wish you luck.

pretty simple operation.. but any operation is scarey if you are the one going under anesthesia and the knife...
