After owning it for 41 years this April, I decided to put it on the chopping block. I've half-assed been trying to sell it by word of mouth for the last couple of years, but bit the bullet yesterday and placed it for sale nationally. No regrets.....yet..... http://email.classiccars.com/wf/cli...o0PGfmNGNYKsDTu50QFLg-2BAg9V3IXZ5g-3D-3D

oh man. your friggen killin' me. i had a 71 non-Z and loved it. always wanted to get another of that era. i love the 70-73's.
you must not have run that thing in the winter up there. mine was a NM car and spotless when i bought it and lived in the south. inside of 2 years of PA driving, it was a rot box. i wish i could have garaged it and ran a beater but i was poor and it got me to work.
is that the LT1? 3.73's? mine was a 6 banger that i dropped a 4 bolt 350 truck motor into and converted the 3 speed to a 4 speed. it was fun.
My diploma is a DD214

aalf, I wish you the best through the sale. I have toyed with selling my '70 Nova that was my first car, and have had 18 years now--just don't have the balls to put it up for sale. Last year I had someone seriously inquire about what I'd ask for it, and told them a really high number as I was afraid they'd pony up the cash if I didn't ask too much.

LT-1's were dead by 73. It is a 350, rated at 245 on the sticker. I believe it has 3.42's.

They were 4-bolt main 350's weren't they? Yes. This car should have been a 74 Firebird 455 Super Duty. I learned that Pontiac was discontinuing that one, so I went to the dealer to order, but I missed the cutoff date by a week.

I've had a 66,70 and 71 Lemans Sport Convertible all get away from the family and am sick over it. The 71 had part of the GTO package.

Talk about gouging, $4000.00 sticker and 41 years later asking $35,000.00...
