All in all, a well educated bunch of hayseeds we all all seem to be! Bring this question to the " outside" world away from like minded individuals (sportsmen) such as is the norm here and my guess is they (them...outside world) profiled our lot as uneducated, backwoods fools....interesting....keep it rolling....

University of Idaho BS in Natural Resource Management circa 1996

Five and a half years of unregulated wildness, interrupted only occasionally by class.

CU Boulder 95-99 BS mechanical engineering.
Was the 2nd oldest in the graduating class. CU being a liberal socialist institute of higher learning provided endless entertainment.

Harvard Class 91"
BA History and Anthropology.
UAF Secondary Licensure.
I should finish up a MA in Ed but it doesn't really make a huge difference in pay.

I was going to be an Engineer then one day I walked by the Peabody and there were a bunch of graduate students dressed in fur clothing, drinking beer from a keg and throwing spears at a dead circus elephant. They let me throw spears and drink too. They sure knew how to recruit.

I can retire after next year but I probably will go five more years after that to get full medical insurance and a cola for my retirement.

Communists: I still hate them even after they changed their name to "liberals".

CSU Fresno, BA 1965. UCLA, MA 1975. Still don't know much about things that are really important. Some of the wisest people I've ever met never bothered with much formal education. Some of the dumbest people I've ever known were very well educated. Go figure.

I graduated in High School in 1986. Later that year I started riding motocross and supercross professionally.
My two best friends were getting ready for college and I razzed them mercilessly about eating ramen noodles and canned ravioli.
I was going to be the next Bob Hanna or Brock Glover(I eventually raced both and beat them in different races). I also had baseball to fall back on if motorcycles didn't work out but that's a different story.
Both of my friends are very successful now, one's a doctor and one is a home builder.
The dumbest decision I've ever made was not going, and finishing college.
I did put some of the money I made to good use though. I paid off the home I grew up in as well as bought a motor home and enclosed motorcycle trailer.
Regrets... You bet...
Would I change the path I chose... Hell no!!!
