University of Maryland - BS - Business Administration - 1964 University of Maryland - MS - Economics 1966 University of Maryland - worked on PhD, never finished due to marriage, kids, job changes, moves and, and lack of gumption! - just got tired of it all.

I did enjoy my time there and liked the field of study and really liked Logan. But they were graduating far more foresters than could be decently employed. A friend who also graduated with a BS in Forestry in 1978 couldn't find work that paid a livable wage and went to a vocational school to become an electrical contractor. Currently living in Boise which isn't a bad city as cities go, but I miss small town Fruitland on the ID-OR border where I lived for about 13 years. Me as a Mountain Man forestry student somewhere north of Logan, UT, that's US89 down at the bottom of that mountain in the background. "I miss small town Fruitland " Jim, at the intersection of I-84 and US-95, there used to be a tank parked in a yard just across US-95 and the gas station; it might have been an M-60(?). Is it still there?

When I drove by there last year it was. The guy that owns it runs a surplus military vehicle lot, with jeeps and a bunch of old deuce and a half's and I think a Humvee or three and other odds and ends. If it's the same fellow I'm thinking of he was in the 101st Airborne in Vietnam.
To Rob's previous question - I was the "computer guy" for May Trucking in Payette, then when they moved all operations to Salem, OR I went to N.A.C.A trucking, then when they went out of business I worked for Catholic Health Initiatives which owned Holy Rosary hospital in Ontario and Mercy Medical in Nampa, among a bunch of others. Then CHI consolidated all of their IT operations in Littleton, CO, so I had to move to Boise to find work.
Gunnery, gunnery, gunnery. Hit the target, all else is twaddle!

5 colleges in 3 states and no degree, though I'm sure I could have an AA in there somewhere.
I couldn't even tell you how many hours I have. Lots of random course work.
No Frets Blake... you have a college guys dream job... Brewing beer! you need an AA 'degree'? attend Alcoholics Anonymous for 30 days, there ya go.. you can call yourself an AA Graduate... sort of like the guys who claim they went to and graduated from Penn State, when in reality they are really alumni of the State Penn... most of we campfire regulars have a "BS" degree.. from either BSU or FU...anyway... and you still have what many campfire members would still consider the ideal dream job... brewing beer... how's fatherhood coming along, by the way?

Never even considered it.
Although, looking back I wish I did because I would love to be a lawyer.
Travis Me too on the lawyer part... Don't need no degree from college to be a lawyer.

Yes, I was a bit slow but managed to get my military duty in, raise a family and hold a full time job all the way.

Graduated in 1985 from Cal Poly San Luis Obispo with a BS in mechanical engineering. I'm sure you attended UCSB during those years, too.. Damn.. What a good time that was.
