Somebody in Munich. I remember EXCELLENT Bockwurst at Oktoberfest there and you gotta have REAL Bock beer to go with it.

You probably could make your own.

Yes, they're in Dane County, but I won't hold that against them. Came here from the Old Country.
I have not had the bockwurst but they do good work.

I am familiar with their stuff. It's as good as Weisswurst gets. Grill it gently and then simmer in some beer and onions.

While you're getting stuff there, do yourself a favor and get at least a couple pounds of the baby swiss and the smoked baby swiss. That stuff is coming out of Green County and you basically can't get it outside of that small area. It's a better kept secret than the brats.

Take a look at:

Lots of good foods and other things from the old country.

That line calls for the 'Expert' tag.

A company that calls Bockwurst and Munich Weisswurst the same thing?

WTF? That's blasphemy.

Scott, I can vouch for these people, great folks and from Germany. We shop there almost exclusively. They even supply the German restaurant at Epcot!

Manfred still speaks with a German accent and I have never gotten anything from his shop the was not top drawer.

If they supply Epcot's German restaurant, they are legit. Good Weisswurst and decent Nurnbergers. Can't vouch for the Bockwurst, as I've never had theirs.

Geiers in Sarasota is the real deal as well.

I agree with T.Lee! I drive from Clearwater to Kallis when I need to restock on meat. Place is so clean you could eat off the floor and the people working there very friendly.
