Shotguns were used out on road detail. I have my Grandfathers Win model 97, 12ga, 30" full choke I cherish the gun and its still my go to spring gobbler gun, it has never let me down I am still using out of a box of his Rem high brass #2 lead shot that has ' US Govt' over rolled on the outside of box!I also have 2 boxes just like the #2's that are buckshot..
