So if the crocs don't get you... the tigerfish will? Those are some wicked teeth on that fish!

I don't think there are goliath Tiger fish this far south. Those huge ones are not common Tiger fish they are the " goliath" Version from Central Africa. They live in far lower numbers.
You can catch the common ones all day long. On a light spinning rod they are as much fun as you can have fishing. Only a saltwater fish provides more ariel acrobatics then a tiger fish can

regardless of which species that is around they are one of the top freshwater game fish in the world.....outstanding fighters with alot of muscle and usually at or near the top of the food chain in their ecosystem as far as fish are concerned.....if given the chance while over there ild definitely spend an afternoon or such fishing for them.....

Crocs are one of those creatures that we all know get big, but it's not until you actually get up to one that you realize they are BIG. I remember seeing the rolled up skins with the heads on top in skinning shed when I was in Mozambique ... they are impressive to say the least.
If you died tomorrow, what would you have done today ...

once they hit bout 10 foot or so they start putting on a hell of alot of weight for every inch in length they grow..a kid could pack around a 6 footer....at 16 foot they weight around a half a ton....at 20 foot they are often over a ton and when they stand up to walk can be approaching 4 foot at the shoulder

Wow I need one of these to go alongside my gator mount. I wouldn't swim or even wash my hands in a marsh full of gators no way I would even go near that water. My crazy Russian friend had no problems leaning over the edge of the boat and washing all the blood off. I guess all those years in Siberia got to him.
