the hbo series "The Pacific". followed close by Band of Brothers. my boys and i watch them all day sometimes back to back if the weather is crap and my wife is out of the house.

I like the dozens of movies all ready mentioned. Here are some others I like.
Dark Star, 1974 Assault on Precinct 13, the 1976 original. The Thing, original is good but like 1982 version best. The Day the Earth Stood Still, 1951 version.
The original bad a$$ Billy Jack.
