I was wondering if you guys have any suggestions on a red dot sight that I could put on my Winchester .22 mag lever action. I'd really prefer a low profile type of sight.
Thanks for any help, pics appreciated....or links

I gots a Burris fastfireII on mine.....mounted on one piece of a B-square groove-to-weaver base. The other half is under the same set-up on my little Browning lever. I've since moved it forward.

I'm a big fan of the concept. Had a Pro Point on a TC classic and had no trouble getting nice round one inch groups at 50yds. That sight's been on a 22/45 for about 10 years or so and it's a hoot. Have an original Fastfire on my 5 1/2" .357 Bisley and except for being a bit ungainly compared to irons, it's a great combination. During the deer season, I aimed it at a lot of rocks and trees to see if I got a good sight picture in the woods and it was fine to any range I would take a shot at.
What fresh Hell is this?

SP-1, matte black. Good units that take a licking. Have using one on a 77/44, a TC Contender (.22rf) and a Savage 24 in .30-30/20 ga. The 77/44 is the only one I've shot paper with at 100 yds. Can do sub MOA now and then, but it's a sure bet to run 1.25" on average. Have killed a chitt load of hogs with the TC. Had a battery die on that one just a few days ago. Something near 5 years old best I can figure. 2nd battery for that sight, purchased in '99 or '00.
