The mid sixties, and the 13th floor elevators and Moving Sidewalks at Allen's Landing, Love Street Light Circus.
Once again around 1971 a friend of mind had just got drafted and was to be sent to Nam. One nite before he went we went "cattin" around. Stopped into the Volunteer Fire Dept. in Dickinson Texas. There was a dance going on. A $1.50 cover charge. Think the group's name was ZZ Top. Every one there was bitchin' cause they couldn't dance to the music. LOL
Last year I put another radio in my 4 Runner.. as the third one in it had died...this one doesn't have a CD player with it... instead you can play music from an IPOD, Phone, Memory Stick etc...
I can make recordings off the internet here onto a Thumb Drive...
just on these 9 pages are some real classics....
tomorrow I am going to run over to Staples and pick up another Thumb Drive... and record these posted here...
Good stuff to listen to on the long drives that Truck gets used for frequently....
Man, just in time. You were starting to lose me there with all that hillbilly caterwauling.
LK is the man. I took these at the Boston Garden about 12 years ago. Turns out a dude we went to school with in Tokyo years ago was the head roadie. The lass got a call from him asking if we wanted to go the day of. We showed up at the will call booth to find three backstage passes waiting for us. Nice to have friends.
