That's a tough one buddy. However, my first thought was yes it has also been re-blued..
I try to stick with the basics, they do so well. Nothing fancy mind you, just plain jane will get it done with style. You want to see an animal drop right now? Shoot him in the ear hole. BSA MAGA

Notice this disclaimer: "It is rare to come across Pre 64 Winchester Model 70�s in the .257 Roberts caliber, but to find one in outstanding well preserved condition is very rare indeed" Not original, but well preserved.

The barrel has been refinished and the stock's checkering sanded heavily.
