Some people just shouldn't be allowed to handle dangerous machinery.

Bet he plugged himself before he ever cleared leather. Probably. What do you wanna bet that he quits after this too? (Probably after suing the county for his injuries.)

Bet he plugged himself before he ever cleared leather. He shot his self in the right knee. That didn't happen while firing at the dog.

As a police range officer when I was in law enforcement, I can tell you that most of them are not nearly was proficient with their duty weapon as they should be. Not by a long shot. Sorry the guy shot himself. But, you can bet that the dept. will be perhaps reconsidering their training, or at least their qualifications and procedures.

Better that he shot himself than the family dog. I had a team of cops, all geared up in tactical black, including a K-9, jump my fence to chase after a burglar from next door who jumped my fence to run across my property. Thank God my dog was in the house at the time or some nutjob cop might have plugged him, because there's no doubt he would have challenged the trespass.
