Darrick,
Not yet in that our season doesn't open until May 3. Been doing a good bit of Shotgun shooting so haven't scouted any. However, will get out this week in the evening to an area that I know has Birds. They are probably roosting in the same places.
Also going to go up to the Big Woods and spend some time with a Bud at his camp. Cool place in that if you get back in, you may get on a Birds that seldom cross paths with people.
How about you? Good luck and please keep me up on how your season goes and don't forget to say hi to all.

Our season goes out the day after yours opens!
It's been a good spring. I've already tagged out --- killed my second last Tuesday. The weather has been great and the birds are plenty. The only bird left I'm looking for is a hickory chicken! Hadn't seen any of those yet...
I'll tell all you said hello and let me know how your season goes!

OK, I had to lookup what a hickory chicken is!!!! Have a friend who is pretty serious about finding them here. Always promises to have me over for a batch, but always ends up eating them all himself.

Jared said thanks for the post Harry! He's ready to go at it again, the boy has never killed two birds in one year. If we can work around the high school baseball schedule he may get the chance to give another old Tom a dirt bath!
Go hard or go Home!!!

Gotcha! I looked for a bit this weekend and didn't find any. According to the locals, they are a bit short in coming on this year. Luckily my nephew had found some, so got at least one meal of them this year!

Darrick, Wasn't an Kentucky Hickery Chicken in here, but there is about 1.5 pounds of Kentucky Whitetail. Woke-up at 5am for work and some good smells were drifting from the kitchen up to the second floor. Had a bowl for breakfast.
