Anybody know what an early to mid 70's 30-06 l61r Finnbear weighs?
Put it in the Googler and got all kinds of weights from 7.25 to 9 pounds.

I've had several.........it'll be around 8.25-8.5 lb, bare.
All steel floor plate & fairly heavy contour barrel; high quality full, & dense stock.

The one I was thinking about buying was 9.5 pounds scoped with a Leupold 3.5-10x40..Bare rifle would have been 8.5 pounds respectively..
I try to stick with the basics, they do so well. Nothing fancy mind you, just plain jane will get it done with style. You want to see an animal drop right now? Shoot him in the ear hole. BSA MAGA

My Stoeger L61r in .270 Win with ring/bases, Burris FFII 3x9, and a leather sling is right around 10 lbs.
