.. I'll be waking up in Johannesburg heading to make my connection to East London!

Four days in Morgan Bay on the Indian Ocean, 2 days in Addo Elephant National Park and then 9 full days of hunting near Cathcart.

My best friend (my wife) is going with me. We are very much looking forward to it. smile

Good luck and enjoy. We did a family trip, me, wife and three sons in 2012 spending four days in Botswana with camera, three days in Zimbabwe with camera then to East London where my son's and I hunted for a week. A wonderful trip. My wife and I did similar in 2002 though out of Port Elizabeth and toured Addo and hunted, birds and the larger critters, for ten days and it was a wonderful trip. You will cherish this trip. Trust me.

Kudu, gemsbok, blue wildebeest, zebra, impala, springbok, blesbok, mtn reedbok.

Keeping my mind open to a bushbuck&/or a fallow deer (gasp!) if the opportunity presents itself. Considering the fallow deer because I cannot match the price ($600) anywhere in the world.

We'll see though. I'm just going to take it as it comes. Hunting new animals with my friend in a new country (warm!) is what is so attractive to me.

Our African Adventure
May 11 2014
Left the ground in Calgary at 1634 MST.
Flew over Nunavut, Greenland, Iceland, Scotland, The North Sea.
Arrived May 12 2014 at Schipol airport in Amsterdam at 0039 MST or 0839 local time.
It was raining and we had to take a shuttle bus to the airport building. We hustled to our gate, only to find our flight had been moved. We got there in time to line up. Full body scan and pat down at security.
Departed Schipol at 0247 MST or 1047 local time.
Arrived in Johannesburg South Africa at 1257 MST or 2057 local time May 12 2014.
In bed at City Lodge at1500 MST or 2300 local time. All the greeters were in place and the SAPS clearance of the rifle was a breeze. Some problem at City Lodge as I had booked us for the 13th. My mistake. Got one of their last three rooms. Very nice, if small.
Good night.
I
