I've never had a problem with Midway USA; always delivered the goods in reasonable time. Good prices and reasonable delivery - that's all I want.

If you picked Surepost or Smartpost (can't remember which is fed ex vs ups) than they not midway use the usps for final delivery.

Unless I am ordering ammunition, they always hand my package off to the USPS.

Heck, shipping USPS is preferred up here. UPS or Fedex doubles or triples our shipping costs.

umm, when you order, simply select UPS vice smart post. Life isn't hard...

I ordered some stuff a couple weeks ago. Shipping was free because they were offering it with a certain dollar amount ordered. I ordered on a Monday, it was shipped the next day via the UPS-USPS partnership, and it was delivered on that Saturday. Nothing to complain about as far as I'm concerned.

Do you just have a personal problem with USPS or did they mess it up somehow? Your post is pretty lacking in details for such a statement. Either way you have a choice at checkout, or can you not figure that out?

Every time in order from them I have the package within 2-3 days.

I've never had a problem with Midway USA. I get the majority of my orders delivered Priority Mail. But then again, the closest UPS or FedEx facility is 630 miles away in skAnchorage.

Looks like he is from a small small town. I'll bet the PO doesn't have lock boxes for big packages, so he had to go during the PO work hours. Anyother co will just throw it on your porch.

This... ^^

I don't like that system, either. The 30 miles to the PO costs me $6.00 in gas and 45 minutes of my time.

I like Midway, buy a fair amount. But their shipping does suck. If I select UPS, its almost double what Grafs charges. So I started checking there first, then looking at Midways prices. The fastest I get anything though is from Brownells.

And here.....about two weeks ago I picked up a vx3 2.5-8x36. They were running a special of 50.00 off an order over 250.00 plus free shipping on Leupolds.....meant the scope was 353.00 to my door. Scope was at my door 4 days later. Not sure how that could have gone much better. Where I live I haven't been able to identify a measurable difference between USPS, FEDEX or UPS. I have shipped and received from all of them without any real issues. In my experience, it is really all about how fast the seller gets the order processed and shipped from their facility that makes a difference.....Midway and Cheaper than Dirt have been noticeably faster than the other retailers I have bought from.

Sounds like you got more beefs with USPS than you do with Midway.

I've used Midway for over 20 years and have never been less than fully satisfied..

It hard to know the problem when the OP never fully explained his statement.

Hell, I live in "the big city", and they did the crap in my last neighborhood... And we even had the big lock boxes. I think the bastages were too lazy to put boxes on the mail truck and just automatically stuck those dam cards in our mailbox. Another of many reasons I hate USPS.

It pays to know your delivery person. The girl that delivers out mail is as sweet as can be and leaves 2 dog biscuits in our box everyday for our 2 mutts.

We always give here a Christmas card with a little money. The wife typically bakes her a banana nut bread twice a year.
