Got my Lee Collet die for 300wsm yesterday and sized some 300saum brass.
Plenty of neck tension especially with lite crimp (Hornady seater).
Zero runout on most of the brass. .001 to .002 runout on a few.
I am very pleased.

Where did it wind up hitting the neck?

Where did it wind up hitting the neck? It sizes about 2/3rds of the neck. Neil

That's what I figured...the unsized portion may very well help center the neck in the bore....not sure if that could make a problem after repeated loadings or not. You are now in "pioneer" status...lol. Good luck...maybe report back as time goes on?
