Hello All, Through my work in human services I met a really nice young fellow who has been getting into shooting over the last couple years and wants to get into reloading. He has no room to setup a bench, in his apartment (me neither sadly) I talked with him about using Lee Loaders which he is excited to learn.
While I have a lot good amount of Lee Loaders I don't have one for 38 special which is what his pistol is. I have pound of powder, about 200ish bullets, and 500 primers already set aside for him and he has the brass. I was wondering if anyone had an extra 38 special Lee Loader they would be willing to part with dirt cheaper.
I will be meeting with him over the next few months to learn to use Lee Loaders and the basics of reloading and do some shooting. He is a really stand up young-man that goes to church, works to support his mother (even though he is over 18) and is taking classes at the local college.
Thanks a bunch, RJ

RJ,
I don't have any spare pistol dies or any of the Leeloaders, but I do have a spare Lee hand press like the one mentioned by Rattler. If its any use, I could put that in the post?
Regards,
Peter

Sure is good to work with these youngsters on shooting - feels good too.
No .38 Spcl LL here, but have and will send .270 Win and/or .280 Rem if he gets into those. What powder is he using? Should we be looking for some brass?

If this is on the up and up, and if it'll help the gentleman out, I have a little used set of RCBS Carbide dies for the 357 Mag/38 SPL/357 Max... I'm not using and probalby never will, I'll see if I can find the #6 shell holder but I don't think I have one.
I can include one of the older sets of Hornady reloading manuals also if wanted, its a couple years old but I don't think I ever used them.
let me know!
Phil
