Thinking about selling one of my 1911's. It's a sig stainless carry (commander sized) and is in like new condition, only 150 rounds through it. Most would probably have a hard time even telling that it's used. I also have the box, all paper work, and 2 factory mags to go with it. Don't see too many used 1911's in my area so just trying to find a fair market value for it. I was thinking about $850 but that's just a guess. Does that seem right? High? Low? Thanks.

Take a look at gunbroker.com guns that have sold. When I searched for "sig stainless carry", only one came up that actually sold - NIB for $819. Seems like a steal to me!
Is there another model number or designation?

Hmm, sounds like I might have paid too much when I bought it...

Haha, maybe I would be better off trying to trade rather than selling.

I just bought the compact version of that pistol. It has the Officer's frame and the Commander slide. I paid $819 for it.
I agree that trying to trade would be a better option than selling. You have a current production pistol, so it's not hard to find in new condition.
Good luck!

Good luck! Yeah, I think that's what I'm going to try to do. I have an excess of commander sized pistols so might try to trade it for a government sized pistol or maybe I'll get lucky and find somebody that wants to get rid of a long slide.
