A freind called to say he had a line on a set in decent condition with no aftermarket issues with the case for $3,500.
I thought it sounded a bit high but I've been out of the loop on these for a while. Can anybody help with what have these been trading for lately?

I'd agree that's higher than I would have expected by several hundred. But, I don't trade a lot anymore either.

They will Fetch 2800 to 4,600 Pending Condition from what i've seen

When I googled around the other day after getting mine, I found several for sale north of $4000. But those are the unsold ones. Haven't seen a nice one actually sell in a while.

3500 in good original condition with an original case in reasonable condition is not out of line IMO
Don't see many good ones for sale. Most have been monkeyed with or put together

No letter on it so it could be cobbled together.
Was there a range of serial numbers for these or are they all over the place?

The style of the case can be key to price also the inside style and color will change the price!!!

I tried to letter the one I had 5-6 years ago, rifle letter but no mention of 410 barrel or the case.
Deer Camp! about as good as it gets!

My set didn't letter either but JTC said a lot of them didn't letter. David

I would be inclined to spend $25. to see if it letters as a "kit". If so I would pursue it. All this assumes the seller would be willing to wait and the condition is worthy.
