I just got back from Pickle Lake, and gasoline there was $1.629 a liter. $62.00 for a half a tank in my Acadia. WOW!

based on current rates.....1 CAD =.921 USD and a US gallon =3.785 liters, my $3.46 USD/ US Gallon is equivalent to .84 CAD/liter

When I go fishing in Canada, I usually cross the border with 87 gallons in my truck and boat.....

That's the thing to do, but, be ready to cough up duty if they ask about it.

Better get a locking gas cap, or you'll be saving some Canuck 87 gallons worth at the suck and drain station.

Saving that kind of loot, I hope you don't complain about the rough roads up here. I suppose you bring most of your groceries too.

1.12 in Leduc, but cheer up because it can only get worse., with all the liberals against pipelines, rail transportation, and their infatuation with carbon taxing, we may be looking at 3 to $5.00 per liter, that will grind things to a halt.
