I was at Sub Base Bangor yesterday and they had all 26 Shows from the Victory at Sea Series on sale at the exchange on DVD so I added to my library. In my opinion the Victory at Sea Series was one great piece of work. Thank you for your work in putting it together.

Wish I knew you were going. Next time you go will you pick up a first class hat crow with the gold chevrons for me.

Is Victory at Sea that older WWII series, black and white?

I think it was on History Channel here not to long ago.. I got to see a little bit of it.. pretty good. Reminded me of the 'World at War' series.

That was an interesting project, all right.

� still haven't seen every episode in the finished product (with the narration and background music)

Somebody on the Campfire � krp, IIRC � gave me the whole thing on DVD several years ago, but somebody else made-off with it.

Next trip over to Bangor I'll see if they still have the DVDs in stock and I'll pick a set up for you and give them to Scott F to bring them down to you at the August 2014 SW Gathering at Armijo Springs near Quemado, NM.

My son bought the the whole set at of all places Cracker Barrel Restaurant. He got it for me for fathers day about 10 years ago and I have watched it several time. Amazing footage and a real tribute to those that served and fought.

I gotta get that set.. I can recall those being viewed on TV when I was a kid.. They were wonderful episodes..
