Do they make these in batches? Haven't seen one for sale in awhile.

I haven't seen any in a while and can't tell you how they are manufactured or imported. I would recommend you might call one of the larger Tikka dealers in the US to see if they might have an idea on your question.

I tried to order a Tikka T3 in 7mm-08 last week from Skagit Arms and was told they aren't available, but he didn't have any reason either. I ordered one in 308 instead. I can't wait to get it, sweet rifle! Any suggestions on glass? Thinking of putting a Leupold UltraLite 3 x 9 - 33 on it but not too sure about the 33 mm objective. Any input would be greatly appreciated!

Emailed eurooptics, seems they are a larger dealer. Said they would be available in the fall and would take a deposit.

Maybe other dealers can do the same.

I dunno, several LGS I frequent are all computer based now, all they know is what pops up on the screen.

EuroOptics is a good dealer and I have purchased several Tikka & Blaser rifles from Alex throughout the years.

I'm pretty sure they do make them in batches, that's standard for a lot of manufacturers. I looked for a LH Tikka .223 for months and no one had them, then over the space of a couple of weeks all of the online dealers had them as well as a bunch on gunbroker.

Ruger Hawkeye blued/walnut comes to mind immediately. Several on www.gunbroker.com right now - search for "ruger lh" or "ruger left", also Bud's Gun shop should have some - www.budsgunshop.com.

Probably other online dealers as well.

Is this a serious question? I can't believe anyone who is even moderately aware of current events and -- obviously -- with Internet access would ask something like this.

Welcome to 2014. The 7mm-08 has been offered in left-handed rifles as a regular catalog offering from most major manufacturers for well over 20 years, going back to about 1990. You can ditch your powdered wig while you're at it.

I just got a email from euro and they expect some in this fall. They do want a 20% deposit to get on the list.

Sako does. Have one in 08 that shoots very well. I would also say I bought an 06 for my son's first gun. It is a Tikka, has performed flawlessly, is very accurate, and about everything you could want in a gun.

Ruger, Savage, Tikka, Browning, probably 5 or 6 others.

I forgot about the Remington M700 SPS Youth which has a short LOP and a 20" barrel, but the LOP can be lengthened or a replacement SPS standard stock substituted.

Tikka makes a lot of these guns. Unfortunately beretta does not see fit to import them. I am a major tikka fan and a left handed shooter. I have emailed beretta many times about importing more .260 LH options. They are very nice but matter of fact about things. And it makes sense. Regardless of the fact that tikka makes it beretta will not import it unless they feel sales volume will reach "X" amount. They are willing to get the gun you want but it's a 1-2 year wait according to them.

I know this is more info than you ask for but I find it funny that tikka makes rifles that the caliber was founded in America like the .260 Remington and 7-08 but beretta will not import them here. But you can buy them elsewhere.

If you insist on a LH tikka tactical in one of these calibers then canada of all places has everything tikka makes. You can pay an importer $300 and get it delivered to your local FFL.

Note: that fee is the same weather it's 1 rifle or 10 so a group buy May be in order.
