Is there way you fellas could get dawn moved a couple of hours later, and sunset moved a couple of hours earlier??? I am up here in the general area of Ft St Johns, and these short nights are really hard to get used to. I like to hit the road early to see animals, but at 3 AM??? Sure do like this area though.

I spent a lot of time in grande praire, used to love getting off work , eating having a nap then heading out for hunting at 8 or 9. I will admit getting up early in the morning can be a pain.
Even worse is leaving the bar at 11 or so and walking out into full day light LOL
Enjoy every minute of it as you are in some of the best hunting I have seen.

Dawn is a fickle female. She changes a little bit every day until there is less than 8 hours of light in a day. Soak up the sun before the deep freeze hits again.

A great region for wildlife viewing. I'd suggest one quit watching the late night creature features on TV.

Yea, I had a few days of long drives. Yesterday was the worst, 500 plus miles to get to Skagway. Siting in Haines now, when we were having dinner, the 90+ year old gent from Gold Rush TV show came in- Apparently he's a regular- really great sense of humor. y the way, do black bears hatch beside the road like grasshoppers up here? In one stretch somewhere near Watson Lake, they were all over the place. Then between Tagish and Skagway there was another "hatch" of black bears. Lost count but saw somewhere around 20 black bears yesterday. Haven't seen any grizzlies yet.
