I have one of these Hornets re-chambered for the 222 , but have never shot it . I have heard that some of these had 0.223 and some had 0.224 Barrels . Is there any way to tell by the Serial Number ? Is there a quick way to determine which Barrel is which ? Would 222 recommended Loads with 0.224 Bullets cause any Pressure Spikes if the Barrel is really a 0.223 ? I would appreciate any advice on light weight ( like around 40 Grain ) Bullet Brands and Powders I might try .....I have plenty of H322 and AA2015 . TIA. .
