sporadic audio advertisements,
delay in scrolling,
"Internet Explorer has stopped working" alerts all the time...

Have you run Malwarebytes? It's not risk free to use but it does find stuff. Another one I use is HiJackThis. It's more dangerous and time consuming but I've found lots of crap with it. Are you running adblock with Chrome?

on this site and this site only, it "runs" constantly. there is a message at the bottom that alternates quickly between "transferring data from ap.liijit.com" to "connected to..." to "waiting for ap.lijitt.com" to "something else".
THis is the only place I have ever had that happen. NO idea why.

I saw the same thing forever but I finally switched to Chrome with adblock and it's gone.
My machine got several viruses from this site so I had version of FireFox where I disabled Adobe Flash just for this site. This site doesn't deserve to be as cool as it is

All of the above and constant Java update request pop-up even though I have the latest version. This site only. It's getting very annoying!!
