2 lbs. Navy Pea Beans 12 oz. Bottle Molasses 2 tsp. Dry Mustard 2 Tbsp. Baking Soda � cup Brown Sugar 3 Tbsp. Ketchup 2 large onions 1 � lbs. Salt pork & Bacon 1 lb. pulled pork Soak beans overnight, discard water. Add fresh water, baking soda and some salt pork, boil 10 minutes. Strain and reserve water. To water add Molasses, dry mustard, brown sugar and ketchup. Layer onions, pork and beans. Cover with reserved liquid 300 oven 5-6 hrs

Looks good.
My favorite thing to do with pork is use it to flavor a batch of marinara sauce, then eat it as a main course (sauce goes in the freezer in batches). For this I like the country-style boneless pork ribs. Really delicious. I braise it in the sauce for about an hour and half.

Not to hijack or try to "one up", but it must be the season... Overnight smoke - beans on top, 9 lb butt on the bottom.
