Just got this completed.
Its a .303 and was in rough cosmetic shape when I got it.
Mechanically excellent.
Planning to shoot it often. [img]http://s1106.photobucket.com/user/bobramsay/media/303Octagon1899.jpg.html][/img]

I still need to get the lever case colored. The only guy I know that does good work is Doug Turnbull but he has become so expensive. I also need the proper "screw" that shows on the face of the receiver, on the left as shown in photo. A makeshift screw was used for now. If anybody has one please send me a PM on cost, etc.
Thanks!

Contact Mike (6mm250) here on the forum. His case coloring of levers is awesome.

Great looking work! Congratulations. You might check with Lightfoot on the missing screw, as he often has small parts.

Sometimes their bad enough to refinish. Appears you have done well with that one. GW

Looks very nice!

Are you talking about the sear screw? I have several. I need the SN to determine which style it is.

Extremely nice!! And ditto for Mike (6mm250), he did a Leupold base and rings for me and I am really pleased with his work, rates and turn around time.

Very Nice Work, And The Efforts Show.
Nice to See Old Things Come Back to life.
As others said Look up (Mike 6mm250) he does great work on case hardening.

Congrats on a Fine Job.
