I have psoriasis (sp) on my kower shin. It itches terribly, and i often scratch until it bleeds. Well my Dr recently prescribed me a salve that he said would help stop the itching and remove the flakiness, of the skin. I didn't pay mich attention to the second part od that, as "the stop the itching" was of paramount interest to me. Well, let me tell you, I wish I had been more interested in that second part and asked HOW it removed the flakiness

I assumed that it just moisturized the skin, boy was I wrong. After four days of using this stuff the itching of my leg has been greatly reduced. While taking a leak today I( mich to my amazement and quite frankly FEAR) I found that the skin on my pecker was peeling off!!! After a quite frantic call to my Dr. I was told, in between laughs that i should wash my hands after using that salve , AND before scratching my johnson...

Always, ask questions!!!

I told my wife as she has psoriasis but fortunately, I can positively say, she doesn't have a Johnson although she has other body parts that could be affected. Thanks for the warning.

I do have psoriasis, not just on my shin, but---knees, elbows, over the spin, on my crotch, in my scalp--toes! Good grief, the toes! As long as I watch my diet, alcohol intake, and use Betamethasone, I keep'er under control!
284luvr, I use to be a jalapeo junky! I would make sandwiches, just outa bread, with Mayo, onions, and Jalapeos, sliced length wise. About 70 years ago, I made such a sandwich, and then went in to pee! OH,GOOD GRIEF! I hung my Johnson into the sink, ran cold water over her, scrubbed her with soap---purely did suffer!
Sure wouldn't want to make the same mistake today! Poor ol' Johnson won't even peek outa my pants, much less hang into the sink!

I showed my shin to the Doc he thought it might be psoriasis and prescribed some such stuff. Never worked, so he decided it was some sort of fungus.
I use athlete foot spray and it knocks it back for 5-6 weeks.
