My 91 Tahoe "ABS" pump has gone out twice now (once at 3000 miles and once last night at 90,000. Anyone else had this problem Has anyone got a recall on this obvious bad system? The service manager diagnosed the problem without even knowing the symptoms! They see many of these.

Do a Google search for recalls on your vehicle. There are dozens of sites that keep track of such things.
Your '91 Tahoe should be a "deluxe" S-10. We had one new then (4x4 pickup) and I think we had some issues with the ABS system and some electrical circuts back then, but as I remember it the ABS problem was with a switch of some sort.
If three or more people think you're a dimwit, chances are at least one of them is right.

FYI Price to fix the ABS system was $1,100. Thank goodness my extended warranty was still in place. Cost $100 deductable.
