Pictures????????? Stampings???????? If it's a mass-produced commercial sporter maybe $350, if it's a custom by a well-known builder or exhibits exceptional quality maybe more. Need more details.....

As long as we are at it, I'd like to know more about my dads gold watch�.. That's actually easier: gold content w/verified purity (18K, etc) X current pawn shop $$$ per ounce. Well-known maker (Breguet, Patek Philippe, etc.) bumps price significantly.

Trying to find out more about my dad's Mauser 30 / 06. Value and age Brian, You will need to get a Photobucket account, upload the pictures onto there, then import them onto a post here. If you can, take close ups of the action from all angles, any markings on the action and barrel, the sights, and the stock. A couple of pictures showing the overall view would help, too. Taking the pics with a cellphone will work, but almost any digital camera will do a better job. Give us a little history on the rifle, too. When did your Dad get it? Did he take it from Hitler's cold, dead fingers himself, or did he buy it? As another poster mentioned, the value can range from a couple of hundred bucks to many thousands, all dependent on what you can show and tell us about it. Ed
