Pretty good. Hoffman is a mild mannered guy with a gorgeous wife who likes to tease the locals. Things lead to things and...eventually Hoffman has to get medieval. Starts slow, some nice T&A in the middle and ends with some pretty intense home defense.
It was remade later on, I forget who starred in the remake but the original is better.
Gunnery, gunnery, gunnery. Hit the target, all else is twaddle!
Yep - every Western character actor of the late 60's is in it. Bo Hopkins, Strother Martin, Warren Oates, et al. The ending gun battle alone raised the stock of squib manufacturers by 18 points.
Gunnery, gunnery, gunnery. Hit the target, all else is twaddle!
And without any tongue in cheek remarks or sarcasm about the subject matter at all, the book is among the best pieces of literature I've ever read. That Nabakov can (could) write.
Gunnery, gunnery, gunnery. Hit the target, all else is twaddle!
Looks like the Robot from "Lost in Space". Danger Will Robinson!!!
