Sounds like Wby brass.
Seems MidwayUSA has it for $65, IIRC.

If it's good brass and you work and have a life and do not have time to form brass, buying 50 cases should last you a long while...
What's $150 bucks in the long run for the money spent of rifles, glass, and hunting logistics...
Or you could just build a .264 Winchester Magnum or 6.5-06 Ackley...grin...

Yeah, but the .264 and 6.5-06 AI won't get 3300 with 140's!

Nosler is good brass, reportedly with a lot of prep work already done.

I've had a 6.5 stw round in my loading room since the 7 stw came out. A friend built one.
I"ve yet to get that far.... his did what he wanted. I"m sure every bit of the nosler round.

No doubt, since the STW and Nosler cases have just about exactly the same 90-grain powder capacity.
The only functional difference is the 26 Nosler fits in a .30-06 length magazine. It might also be a little more accurate, due to the shorter powder column, but that would be cutting things pretty fine.

I think I'll have to suffer 3100 with my 6.5-06 It may have already been talked about, but can the Nosler be formed from other available cases?

And I would think the quality of the Nosler brass might trump the length Nosler brass is one product that lives up to the hype. I have experience with a bunch of it and it is all excellent stuff

That is indeed another factor. The 26 Nosler brass I've used so far is very good.

If a dude can't afford or is unwilling to buy Nosler brass and rebarrel at least once a year, maybe a different hobby is in order !
Long range guns and cartridges, etc.. are not for guys who pick up pennies in the street !
just sayin'.........
